Grassstains Psychedelic Stoop Fest

About GPS Fest

A one day music and art festival in Philadelphia. Fueled by community and artists.

Our Story

Our Story

GPS Fest (Grassstains Psychedelic Stoop Fest) is a one-day music and arts festival based in Philadelphia. Founded in 2021 by Juls, The Philly Stoop began with handmade flyers, local bands, street closures, and a vision to create an accessible, creative space for local artists. After meeting through Philadelphia’s creative community nearly five years ago, Juls joined forces with Kyle from Philadelphia Psychedelic, and then in 2024 with Nina from Grassstains Festival to create what is now GPS Fest. What was once a single block packed with artists and musicians has evolved into a park-wide experience at Lemon Hill that continues to expand through collaboration and community.

Together, the three organizers specialize in independent music production, sober event planning, coordinating local art markets, and cultivating immersive creative experiences.

GPS Fest exists to create an inclusive, affordable, community-centered event where local artists and musicians can share their work while attendees experience a full day of creativity, connection, and discovery.

Meet the Team

The people who make GPS Fest happen.

Juls

Founder of The Philly Stoop

Juls

Juls is the 'S' in GPS Fest. Social media wizard and event dreamer. Juls brings the aesthetic vision and community connections that make GPS Fest feel like home. She built the Philly Stoop in 2022 from the ground up. Coordinating GPS Fest is her 5 to 9 after her 9 to 5. Juls works full time running the social media for a beloved Philadelphia children's museum, but clocks in as the crazy stoop lady when the sun goes down. (And she wouldn't want it any other way)

Kyle

Founder of Philadelphia Psychedelic

Kyle

Kyle is the 'P' in GPS Fest. He's our music curator and the founder of Philadelphia Psychedelic - a collective that brings together the psych loving folks of Philadelphia. Kyle books the lineup and makes sure every set sounds incredible and runs smoothy. He's the lizard man and supplies lots of good vibes and big ideas.

Nina

Founder of Grassstains Festival

Nina

Nina is the 'G' in GPS Fest. Nina is the founder of Grassstains Festival, a sober one-day music and art festival that took place in New Jersey. Nina was also a long time vendor at The Philly Stoop, so it only felt right to join forces and combine our passion projects to create GPS Fest. She is our resident artist, list maker, number keeper, and voice of reason when Juls and Kyle are being crazy people.
